For any emergencies, please contact your family doctor, or go to the nearest walk-in clinic or emergency room.

Covid-19 Update

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic and based on the medical advice of both the provincial and federal health agencies, the following procedures will be followed when making an appointment and attending the clinic.

Booking an appointment  Patients will be pre-screened by phone before making an appointment. Priority will be given to emergencies and high-risk patients over routine appointments. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.

a Pre-screening  Patients will also be screened at reception for any symptoms of Covid-19. Symptoms range from mild, like the flu and other common respiratory infections, to severe, and can include:

  • fever
  • cough
  • difficulty breathing

If you are experiencing any symptoms, even mild ones, please alert our staff.

Limiting the number of patients in the clinic  Only one patient will be allowed in the clinic at a time. We ask that you attend your appointment alone or with one caregiver if essential. Please wait outside or in your car until your scheduled appointment time. Patients will be taken directly to the treatment room immediately following screening.

Physical distancing  Plexiglass screens have been installed to protect our staff and patients. Please follow the markings on the floor to remain a safe distance apart.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)  Masks are not required. If you wish to wear a mask, please bring one with you.

Hand Hygiene Hand sanitizer will be provided and must be used upon entering and exiting the clinic.

While we continue to follow our standard infection control procedures, additional measures have been added for staff and patient safety.

  • Any non-essential items have been removed from the common areas and treatment rooms.
  • Use of the waiting room will not be available.
  • All areas of patient contact will be disinfected prior to and after every appointment.
  • In addition to masks, staff will also wear face shields and gloves.

Please note that while we are diligently following Public Health Ontario protocols and are taking every available measure to maintain a safe and healthy environment, it is impossible to give any guarantee that persons who do attend the clinic have not been exposed to Covid-19 which could potentially put others at risk.
